Ephemeral is being displaced of permanence—of passing moments and of transient people. As poets, fictionists, essayists, and playwrights—revelers and revealers of human condition—we have resounding fleeting events that, although short-lived, have repercussions that effect not only our lives, but also who we are, which further imbues our art, our craft. By acknowledging that the world, too, is transient, and that transience is embedded in the worlds and works of each of us, we are able to dig deeper into the stories—confined in the crevices of remembering—of each creator: us. – CDO Poetry Night
